Appointment of Managing Director

After over 40 years in key management positions in the offshore oil and gas industry, Ray Meadowcroft has made the decision to step down as AOS Managing Director. In consultation with the board, the decision was made to appoint Daniel Sweetman as Managing Director effective 1 February 2022.

In announcing his decision Mr. Meadowcroft said

“I will remain an active part of the business, maintaining my role as a Director. I felt the time was right to take a slight step back from the day to day duties demanded by the role, but more importantly, I am satisfied Daniel is more than ready to step up. Many of you know Daniel well. He has now accumulated a wealth of experience in the industry, has been a constantly solid contributor to our business and has also established close relationships with key clients, employees and other key stakeholders. We have full confidence that Daniel will take the business forward and continue AOS focus on quality service delivery.”

Commenting on his appointment, Daniel Sweetman said “It’s a privilege to have been appointed as AOS Managing Director, especially at such an exciting time for the company. After navigating through a few challenging years for the industry on multiple fronts, AOS have emerged in a stronger position. With a great team and solid foundations for the growth already in place, I am confident that we will continue to build on this success and drive our strategic vision as we look to the future.”
